| Dr James Harris and Dr Tejinder Bhatti, both eminent plastic surgeons, have dedicated themselves since many years to developing the best methods for rapid FUE harvest. Both faculty members of FUECON are equally adept at the FUT (strip) and FUE methods and are hence the right faculty to put forth an honest and pragmatic opinion regarding the role of both these techniques in your practices.

James A. Harris, MD, FACS, received his medical degree with honors from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1989. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. Harris' practice, The Hair Sciences Center of Colorado, is limited exclusively to follicular unit hair transplantation and follicular unit extraction. He is a Clinical Instructor of Hair Transplantation at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. He authored, "The Hair Replacement Revolution: A Consumer's Guide to Effective Hair Replacement Techniques." |
Dr. Harris has patented a surgical methodology and instrumentation for performing follicular unit extraction that ensures graft integrity. The method is the Harris SAFE System® and utilizes both a manual and motorized systems. The technique and surgical results were first presented at the 12th Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery in Vancouver, BC and the technique has been demonstrated at live surgery workshops worldwide.
He is also the principal investigator for Restoration Robotics, a company that has developed a robotic system for follicular unit extraction that utilizes the SAFE System technology.

Dr Tejinder Bhatti, MS MCh, FICS, FAIS is the founding Secretary of the Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons of India. He is on the Board of Governors of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India & Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and is the Joint Editor of the Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery. A pioneer in hair transplant surgery in India, Dr Bhatti has dedicated his career entirely to advanced techniques in hair transplant surgery. He is an active member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, being on its Global Council, and a member of the Asian Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons. His center, Darling Buds, prides itself in cutting edge techniques in FUE and FUT methods. Dr Tejinder Bhatti is one of the first to assimilate cutting edge technology like the James Harris' Safe Scribe System and many other modern instrumentation & techniques in his busy practice.
